Prototype · Not medical advice

You are not alone.
You do not need certainty.

Chilto is a calm, therapist-directed companion for the difficult moments between your OCD or anxiety therapy sessions. Pause, follow the exercise your therapist assigned, and keep moving forward.

Built with clinicians. Chilto follows your therapist's plan, not its own opinion.

Chilto does not replace your therapist.
It works for them.

Chilto does not diagnose, does not decide your treatment, and does not offer therapy of its own. Every exercise it walks you through was written by your clinician, for you. Between appointments, it simply holds the line they drew — so the work you do together in the room keeps going when the room isn't there.

Your therapist decides

The exercises, the delay length, the language Chilto is allowed to use.

Chilto carries it

Into 2am, into the supermarket, into the moment the urge peaks.

You stay in care

What happens between sessions shows up in your next appointment.

Our mission

Therapy happens for an hour a week. OCD and anxiety happen at 3am, in the car, in the middle of a conversation. That gap is where compulsions win — not because people lack skill, but because the plan isn't in reach at the exact moment it's needed.

Chilto exists to close that gap. To put your clinician's plan in your pocket, help you sit with the discomfort long enough for it to move, and get you back to your life — without ever handing you the reassurance the compulsion is asking for.

Our vision

A world where nobody in treatment has to white-knuckle the week alone. Where every person has their clinician's plan with them, and every clinician can finally see what actually happens between appointments instead of relying on memory.

We want the hour in the therapy room to become more useful, because the six days around it are no longer invisible. Better between-session data, better sessions, fewer people quietly dropping out of care.

What a difficult moment looks like

One button on your home screen. Three steps, always the same, so there's nothing to figure out when you're already overwhelmed.

  1. Step 1

    Name the moment

Tell Chilto what's happening. It reflects the fear back so you feel heard — and names it as a thought, not a fact to be solved.

  2. Step 2

    Hold the delay

Start the delay your therapist set. A breathing pace, a grounding exercise, a simple game — something to be with while the urge crests.

  3. Step 3

    Return to your life

Rate the urge again, note whether you held off, and pick something to go back to. The whole session lands in your therapist's view.

Chilto will never tell you it's going to be okay

That isn't coldness — it's the treatment. Reassurance feels like relief for a minute and feeds the loop for a lifetime. So Chilto won't answer "did I do something wrong?", won't check for you, and won't help you get certain. It will sit with you while the uncertainty is loud, and it will say so out loud when you ask.
